Good evening, everyone. Thank you so much for being here; it truly means a lot to me.

Before I talk about the book, I want to ask you something simple: How many of us are truly living as ourselves? And how many are simply working to maintain an image? Have you ever paused and wondered, “The person I show to the world—is that really me?

”My book, True I, False I – Unmasking the Silent Struggle, was not written in a single day. It was written in moments of silence, in confusion, in breakdowns, and in those small, quiet realizations. The truth is, we all carry two versions of ourselves: the one we keep inside, and the one we show to the world. Over time, that external version becomes so dominant that our real self starts to fade.

The characters in this book are students—young minds full of dreams, but also heavy with the weight of expectations, competition, and the fear of failure. They understand a specific kind of loneliness: the kind where you are surrounded by people but still feel completely alone. But this book is not just for students. We have all felt that way at some point. We have all smiled on the outside while feeling empty within, doing everything “right” yet feeling like something was missing.

I didn’t write this book because I had all the answers. I wrote it because I had questions. I realized that the problem wasn't the world; it was that I was moving away from myself. This book is my journey back home to who I am.

This is not a lecture; it is a reflection. As you read, you will move through different stages: the confusion of trying to understand who you are, the pressure of worrying about others, the silence of saying “I’m fine” when you aren’t, and finally, the breakdown that forces you to realize this isn’t the life you want. Then, slowly, comes the awakening.

Every page is a mirror. Sometimes it will comfort you, and sometimes it will shake you, but it will always be honest. You won’t find complicated words here, but you will find real feelings. This book speaks softly, but what it says will stay with you.

It is for the one who feels lost but cannot explain why; for the one who looks strong but feels tired inside; for the ones who are always there for others but never for themselves. Whether you are a student, a parent, a teacher, or a professional who has grown up but still feels that something is missing—this is for you.

Because this book speaks to a simple, universal truth: the struggle to be yourself in a world that constantly asks you to be someone else. The biggest struggle in life isn’t failure; it’s pretending everything is okay when it isn’t. This book gives a voice to that silence. It reminds you that it is okay to feel lost, and it is okay to not have everything figured out. You aren't broken—you’re just tired. Your real self isn't gone; it is simply waiting, hidden beneath the noise.

If even one person reads this and feels, “I am not alone,” then this book has done its job.

In life, we spend so much time trying to become someone that we forget to simply be. Before you try to win the world, take a moment to find yourself first. Because without that, even success can feel empty.
